Audi has begun construction of a new building for the engine division.

An area of 3, 000 square meters was allocated for the construction of the building on the territory of the Audi technology center located in Neuburg.

In building F7. 2 will house the dynamometers that will be used in the development of the Formula 1 engine for 2026.

Audi will also expand the staff in the department that develops ERS, electric motor, batteries, internal combustion engines and gearboxes. Now the staff of this department has 220 people, by the middle of next year it is planned to expand it to at least 300 people.
