Pepe has rejected the opportunity to renew his contract with Real Madrid

The Portuguese defender Pepe has rejected the last chance to renew his contract with Real Madrid, according to the press. At the moment, the negotiations between both sides are stopped. The defender has had two offers from Chinese clubs, but at the same time, he could not understand for the duration of the contract with the White Ballet. The 33-year-old football player is adamant in his desire to get at least a two-year contract to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese national has been a part of the team of Real Madrid for ten years up to now.
The point at which the parties cannot reach an agreement is the duration of the contract. Pepe insists on a two-year contract, while Real Madrid wants a contract for 1 + 1 years since that is the club via bestsportpredictions policy regarding transfers of football players who are at the age of 32 years and more.
Currently, his salary is 5.5 million euros per season in Spain, but Pepe is important for Madrid and because of his close relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.
It seems that if the situation around Pepe does not change drastically in the coming months, he will leave Real Madrid.
