Roger Federer took the derby of Switzerland

The second placed Roger Federer will play final of the tournament in Rome series "Masters 1000". In the Swiss duel he beat the eighth placed Stan Wawrinka with 6:4, 6:2 after only 54 minutes.

For his first title in the Eternal City, Federer will fight against the champion Novak Djokovic.

Wawrinka began the match perfect and then solidified for 3:0. But that was the best moments for Stan. Roger turns back the break and equalized for 3:3. The world record holder for Grand Slam titles broke again for 5:4 and then closed set.

In the second set there was no intrigue. Wawrinka took for 1:0, but then Federer won five consecutive games in which despairs his opponent. At 5:2, the father of four children serves for a place in the finals and made it with a game to zero.

Roger will try to succeed in his fourth match for the title in Rome. Great Swiss lost finals in 2003 by Felix Mantle and in 2006 and 2013 by Rafael Nadal.

Federer leads by 20-18 wins against Djokovic. This year they have already met in two finals. Federer won in Dubai (6:3, 7:5), then the Serb took revenge in Indian Wells with 6:3, 6:7, 6:2.
