Eighth "Grand Slam" final

Andy Murray reached his fourth final of the Australian Open and eighth overall in the "Grand Slam". He has defeated Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals phase with 6:7, 6:0, 6:3, 7:5 after more than three hours of play.

Murray realized impressive turnaround after losing the first set against victorious during the tournament Berdych. In the remaining three parts, Murray gave only eight games to his rival.

Murray has lost two finals in Melbourne from Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. Andy will have a chance to take revenge against Nole, if the world number one deal with Stan Wawrinka in the second semi-final.

With this success Andy Murray secured a return to the top four in the world rankings.

"The feeling is wonderful. This was very tough match. I`m glad that I won in four sets. In the end it was difficult and physically, so I am pleased that I was able to finish in my favour.

"Definitely he started better than me and deservedly won the first part. But in our sport you can always change things. Since the beginning of the second set I managed to be more aggressive and dominate on the court. I tried to control my emotions and performance. The match was very different from my previous.

"This meeting is very important for my confidence and return," said the Scot in the interview on the court.
